Amanda Stoddard, President Amanda Stoddard earned her B.A. in Public Communications from the College of St. Rose. After earning her degree, she worked as writer for the NYS Assembly in Albany. She went on to earn Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Biology from Bard College, and is professionally certified to teach both Biology and General Science. As a member of the Irish Ecosystems program, Mrs. Stoddard participated in ecological field work throughout Ireland. In the classroom for 10 years, Mrs. Stoddard teaches Physical and Life Science classes in the Red Hook Central School District, serves as the chair of a Building Level Team, co-produces the Charity Lip Sync, and is a member of the Dignity for All Students Act Committee. Mrs. Stoddard also chairs the annual Engineer’s Day event, and was an Armada Project mentee through the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island. She is a member of the NYS Master Teacher Program. Amanda, her husband, and their three children currently reside in Kerhonkson. |

Richard Travers, Co-Treasure Richard is the of Principal in Travers, O’keefe, LLC., an insurance consulting, brokering and advocate firm. Richard serves as the current President of the Rondout Valley Business Association and sits on the Ulster County Tourism Board. Throughout the years he has held a number of management positions in the insurance industry and has served on numerous public and private industry Boards. He and his partner Sherryl Pierre live in Accord. |

Nik Gerner, Co-Treasure With over 35 years experience in the finance field, Nik retired and opened a farm in 2007. With his wife Sophie, they produce and sell naturally raised grass-fed beef. He has two children. |

Matthew Summersgill Matthew Summersgill is a full-time stay-at-home parent. A native of Louisville, KY, he holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Louisville and an MFA in Theatre from Florida Atlantic University. After life as a performer in New York City, he worked in labor relations for Actors’ Equity Association and the Directors Guild of America; and in recruiting and people operations in the adtech industry. He lives with his wife and two children in the beautiful hamlet of Palentown. |

Ligeia Garland Ligeia Garland graduated from SUNY New Paltz with an M.S. in Communication Disorders. Ligeia is a New York State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Ligeia lives in Cottekill with her husband and two children.
Vanessa Shea Vanessa earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston College and her master’s degree in Elementary Education from Quinnipiac University. Vanessa is passionate about early childhood education and has enjoyed teaching Pre-K through 3rd Grade students. Prior to her recent move to the area, Vanessa spent five years at a private school in Saratoga Springs, where she developed a Pre-K program before joining the administrative team as Marketing and Development Coordinator. She currently works at SUNY Ulster in the President’s Office as an Administrative Assistant. Vanessa lives with her husband in Rosendale where they spend their free time running, hiking, biking, camping, and exploring the Hudson Valley and beyond.
